Christopher DiGirolamo Honored at Harry Brandeis Awards Dinner

This year on December 1, many people gathered at an event known as the Harry Brandeis Awards Dinner, the 22nd of its kind for 2016. The Community Resource Council hosts the awards ceremony as one of its most celebratory events of the year, every year. The awards ceremony year to year is meant as a way to honor the memory of a highly respected and distinguished physician known as Dr. Harry Brandeis and the individuals who make up his visions and philosophies in their community service. This year Christopher DiGirolamo from Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi was honored with the award for all his years of hard work and dedication to his agency.

The Community Resource Council is made up of agencies and individuals who have an overall commitment of promoting health and well-being of those located in the Bergen, New Jersey area. They are the owners of the HELPLINE Service, which is a free, comprehensive, and confidential way for people to obtain information and referrals for the things that are most important in their lives. This means that resources are available for a wide variety of services like health care for senior citizens, drug and alcohol counseling, help for the disabled, unemployment assistance, services for working parents, food and shelter services, and so much more.

The CRC is a very important factor in the livelihood of many people’s day-to-day lifestyles in Bergen County. With their access to The HELPLINE database, they are able to obtain information of upwards of 2,500 health and human service resources for those who are local.

Christopher DiGirolamo shows an exquisite excellence in the litigation field, which is why he has been recognized at the elite awards ceremony this year. Today we thank DiGirolamo for his hard work and dedication to the people around him, as the CRC has been honoring for years.
