The American College of Trial Lawyers Mock Trial

July 2018, Michael Maggiano participated in The American College of Trial Lawyers Mock Trial attended by over 200 seasoned trial lawyers from throughout the State of New Jersey.

The Mock trial took place at the New Jersey State Bar Headaquarters in New Brunswick, New Jersey where a Plaintiff’s team and Defense team squared off from Voir dire to closing arguments before the attendees and an outstanding panel of trial lawyers and judges providing comment. Senior member of our firm, Michael Maggiano was designated as a key presenter by giving Plaintiff’s Closing Argument.

By all accounts from attendees the lawyers were riveted to Mr. Maggiano’s closing. Some of the comments are:

“You gave an unforgettable closing argument”

“What a great way to close a two day program. You held the audience.”

“Thank you I learned a lot”

“Thank you for sharing your knowledge, we know what it took to take two days off to monitor each presenter then give a closing based on what we observed for two days. You made it all real.”
