Mr. Maggiano was honored with the New Jersey Association for Justice Gold Medal for his distinguished service to the association, and the advancement of justice through teaching trial skills to thousands of lawyers and for the cutting edge litigation he has participated in as lead counsel in New Jersey and around the country.
New Jersey Association for Justice President, Francisco Rodriguez, introduced Mr. Maggiano to a standing ovation of over 400 attendees and said in part the following, “The New Jersey Association for Justice presents it highest and most coveted award, The GOLD MEDAL for Distinguished Services to Michael J. The members, board and officers of NJAJ thank you for your dedication to the civil justice system and your commitment to the ideal of Justice for all.”
Michael Maggiano accepted this great honor by thanking his fellow attorneys for their relentless efforts to fight for what is right. “And because of you, trial by trial, case by case, little win by little win and sometimes a big win, we collectively change the world for the better.” With humility, Mr. Maggiano acknowledged his peers saying “Tonight as I stand here, I stand on your shoulders. You have made my life so exciting just to be around you. To be like a pygmie and walk amongst you. I stand on the shoulders of giants. Thank you all for being my friends.”
