You May Have a Vehicle That is Part of a Recall

Sometimes, a vehicle manufacturer or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) will determine that there are risks associated with a vehicle because they fail to meet the minimum safety standards. When this occurs, the manufacturer has a responsibility to fix a vehicle at no cost to the owner. This typically consists of repairing it, replacing it, or offering a refund for the equipment or car. You will be receiving a separate letter in the mail from the vehicle manufacturer that will let you know when the remedy is available.
