Daniel LaTerra Selected to the 2016 New Jersey Rising Stars List

Daniel LaTerra, an associate at Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi, joined the firm as an associate in 2007 and is licensed to practice law in the State Courts of New Jersey and New York. He has received such recognition as Top 100 National Trial Lawyer for 2014, and has an Avvo rating of 10 Superb in Personal Injury. However, now LaTerra is receiving recognition for another prestigious award – the 2016 New Jersey Rising Stars list.

What is the Rising Stars list? This is developed using guidelines set in place to determine each year’s Super Lawyer, which is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. However, for Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less to become eligible. Up to 5% of lawyers in a state are named Super Lawyers; however, no more than 2.5% are named Rising Stars. Those being named as Rising Stars have first gone through the Super Lawyers selection process, but met the Rising Stars eligibility requirements.

So what does this mean for LaTerra? Selection for the prestigious Rising Stars list will provide third-party validation to the practice, grow the attorney referral network, and influence consumer hiring decisions. His listing will appear in New Jersey Super Lawyers Magazine for April 2016, reaching more than 32,000 attorneys. It will also appear in New Jersey Monthly for April 2016, reaching more than 528,000 readers, and the attorney directory on SuperLawyers.com.
