Country Clipper Riding Lawn Mower

Shivvers Manufacturing Inc. has recalled approximately 1,650 Country Clipper riding lawn mowers due to fire risk. The ignition module in select County Clipper models can fail to ground, resulting in overheating and melting, posing a serious fire hazard.

The affected mowers were manufactured between October 2011 and May 2014, and they were sold at Country Clipper lawn mower dealers nationwide for between $5,300 and $9,500. The recall includes 2012, 2013, and 2014 Country Clipper riding lawn mowers with the model numbers listed here. The affected mowers have 27-horsepower Kohler Command CV740 or Kohler Courage SV740 twin cylinder engines. They are steered by either two steering arms or a joystick, depending on the specific model.

Shivvers Manufacturing Inc. has received four reports of lawn mower ignition modules overheating and melting. Consumers should immediately stop using the mowers and contact an authorized Country Clipper dealer to schedule a free repair.

Bravo Turkey and Chicken Pet Food

Bravo! has recalled certain turkey and chicken food for dogs and cats due to possible Salmonella contamination. If contaminated, the food could cause adverse reactions in pets as well as humans coming into contact with the food.

Routine testing by the Nebraska Department of Agriculture found Salmonella in two lots of the affected products. Bravo has not yet received reports of illness in people or animals affected by the products.

The recall includes Raw Food Diet Turkey Blend, Bravo! Blends All Natural Chicken Blend Diet, Premium Turkey Formula Bravo Balance Raw Diet, and Bravo! Blends All Natural Chicken Blend Diet. The exact product number, best by date, and UPC of the affected batches can be found here. All four varieties were manufactured in the same facility or on the same day as the products that tested positive.

The recalled products should not be sold or fed to animals. Pet owners should dispose of the affected food in a securely covered trash receptacle and return to the place of purchase to submit a Product Recall Claim Form for a full refund or store credit.

Ross Metal Bistro Chairs

Ross Procurement Inc. has recalled about 840 orange metal bistro chairs due to risk of collapse. The chair’s seat can fail to attach to the frame when the chair unfolds, causing the chair to collapse and potentially causing the user to fall.

The affected chairs were sold at Ross stores nationwide between February and April 2014 for about $30. The chairs measure 36 inches tall by 15 inches wide by 16 inches deep and the following identification is printed on the hangtag: SKU 400101018858.
