Michael Maggiano, a Bergen Top Lawyer

In June 2015, (201) Magazine published an issue that featured a segment known as Bergen’s Top Lawyers, a peer-review survey focusing on some of the greatest lawyers in all of Bergen County. (201) Magazine is an advertiser and reader resource for Bergen County in New Jersey, and the county’s only monthly magazine. They boast that they have the latest news and Best of Bergen, which they bring to consumers every month. The magazine features popular articles like “The Best of Bergen,” (201) Health, and (201) Dining, which gives an annual guide to some of the best health advice, polls, and area restaurants.

(201) recently presented the results of a survey known as the annual Bergen’s Top Lawyers peer-review, which was conducted by Professional Research Services (PRS) of Royal Oak, Michigan. During the process, thousands of attorneys throughout Bergen County were contacted by PRS and asked who they would recommend within the county in different areas of law. An online ballot was then constructed and each attorney was permitted to recommend up to three colleagues in each given legal specialty. After nominations were complete, each nominee was carefully evaluated on the basis of the survey results. The things considered were the legitimacy of their practicing license and their current standing with the State Bar Association of New Jersey.

In the area of Personal Injury lawyers, Michael J. Maggiano of Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi was chosen as a winner for recognition. In 2015, he was also selected to the 205 Super Lawyers New Jersey Top 100 List, which features only the best of the best attorneys in New Jersey. In April 2015’s article of Super Lawyers Magazine entitled “The Detail Man,” it was quoted: “PI plaintiff’s attorney Michael Maggiano drills down and connects dots.” He was also the recipient of the annual Trial Bar Award from the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey as well as many other awards.
