Michael Maggiano to be Featured in April Edition of ‘Super Lawyers’
An in-depth profile of founder and senior partner Michael Maggiano will appear in the April edition of Super Lawyers magazine.
Maggiano has been selected as a New Jersey Super Lawyer every year since 2005, representing his commitment to aggressive personal injury litigation and the highest ethical standards.

The Super Lawyers’ patented selection process is a three-stage system, incorporating peer nominations, independent research through third-party sources, and evaluations by a panel of attorneys. Each attorney is evaluated using 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement, including verdicts and settlements, experience, honors and awards, licenses and certifications, pro bono work, education, and more. When the final selections are made, no more than 5 percent of practicing attorneys per state in a given field are selected as Super Lawyers.
For more than 40 years, Maggiano has specialized in personal injury litigation with a special focus on construction accidents and medical malpractice. Maggiano—with the help of partners Christopher DiGirolamo and Michael Lizzi—has won a number of million- and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements, earning him inclusion in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is open to less than 1 percent of all U.S. attorneys. He and DiGirolamo headed up the litigation for the Tropicana Casino Resort parking garage collapse, which resulted in a $101 million settlement for the workers and their families (the largest construction accident settlement in U.S. history).
Maggiano received his law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1974, and the college honored him as one of its 125 Alumni of Distinction for his work in civil litigation. He is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey and the National Board of Trial Advocacy, illustrating his commitment to representing plaintiffs inside the courtroom.
