Michael Maggiano Guest Speaker in the Masters In Advocacy Series of the New Jersey Association for Justice Meadowlands Seminar

Michael Maggiano was a guest speaker in the Masters In Advocacy Series of the New Jersey Association for Justice Meadowlands Seminar attended by over eight hundred lawyers from around the country. Mr. Maggiano spoke on advocacy for the injured.

Mr. Maggiano is well known for his staunch support for the rights of families suffering the loss of a loved one or the devastation of injury and disability. He has been an advocate for Work Place Safety and has been asked to Chair a February 2017 program for the New Jersey Association for Justice on handling Construction Accident claims for injured workers.

Michael Maggiano spoke to hundreds of lawyers on Friday morning November 17, 2017 at the New Jersey Association for Justice Meadowlands Seminar at the Hilton, 2 Meadowlands Plaza, East Rutherford New Jersey in the Master Advocate program where he as asked to give advice taken from his many courtroom battles in a talk called, “Lessons Learned” in which he shared with lawyers of all experience levels some of the lessons learned from hurdles he had to overcome in his many high profile cases. On Friday Afternoon Mr. Maggiano present a half day program on the use of video technology in the taking and presenting of depositions. He put together a group of very talented lawyers from throughout the state who shared their experiences with the use of video technology. Mr. Maggiano presented the technique of Case Framing to develop lines of questioning of the opposing witness on video to capture their demeanor, manner of speech and content of answer as Mr. Maggiano used various examination techniques to cull from the witness admissions and acknowledgments in order to present to the jury sufficient evidence enabling them to find fault and liability with the defendant in each case.

With partner Christopher DiGirolamo, Mr. Maggiano has participated in claims for injured workers of historical proportions, each having been part of the legal trial team in the IN RE TROPICANA GARAGE COLLAPSE which involved one of the largest construction disasters in American Construction History.
