Christopher T. DiGirolamo Top Lawyer

CHRISTOPHER DIGIROLAMO, MANAGING PARTNER AT MAGGIANO, DIGIROLAMO & LIZZI, is honored to be chosen as a Top Lawyer in both the Personal Injury and Worker’s Compensation categories. He has worked diligently to master the complexities of both classifications, and is proud that his peers have recognized his efforts to help injured clients, especially men and women who have lost their careers because of a work-related injury.

An accomplished trial lawyer, Mr. DiGirolamo protects
the rights of New Jersey’s labor force as well as victims of car accidents, fall downs, construction accidents, and on-the-job injuries. He has helped union workers for over three decades
in various types of litigation including construction accidents, product defects, dangerous workplaces, employment disputes, and worker’s compensation claims. He has achieved many multi-million-dollar verdicts and recoveries for workplace accident victims and their families, including serving as co-counsel in
the Tropicana Garage Collapse case, the largest personal
injury recovery ($101 million) in a construction accident in United States history, as well as co-counsel with Senior Partner Michael Maggiano, on the Route 208 Bridge Collapse case in Hawthorne.

Mr. DiGirolamo also finds fullfillment in being a public servant and has spent the majority of his 33-year legal career giving back to the community by volunteering to mentor local law students, judging high school and law school moot court competitions, speaking at local high schools and colleges about the pursuit of
a career in law, and originating and teaching a class at Bergen Community College for many years called the People’s Law School. He and his firm established a scholarship fund given annually to a New Jersey high school student who shows a desire and aptitude to pursue pre-law studies in college. He lectures throughout New Jersey and all around the country to lawyers about multiple personal injury topics. Mr. DiGirolamo has also served on numerous nonprofit boards, and he is currently serving as a Councilman in his hometown of Saddle River, where he is also the Fire Department Commissioner, Council Chairman for Affordable Housing, Council Chairman for the Ordinance Review Committee, and Council Liaison for multiple historical projects in town.
