Founded and rooted in the heart of Fort Lee, MDL Law Firm is known for its longstanding dedication to justice, civic leadership, and community partnerships. This new initiative reflects the firm’s sincere recognition of the Korean-American community’s vital role in Fort Lee’s continued success.

“Fort Lee is a better place today because of the Korean community,” said Michael Maggiano, founding partner of MDL.
“Korean-American families devote themselves to their children’s education and to building this town—not just living in it. Their contributions are steady, sincere, and deeply impactful—and we wanted to honor that.”
A Deep Connection to Fort Lee—and Its People
Michael Maggiano, founding partner of MDL, he grew up knowing every neighborhood in town. In his years of local politics, he came to know thousands of community members and they came to know him as a member of the counsel with great integrity and responsibility. and someone who deeply understands the community’s fabric.
“While many communities pass through, the Korean community took root here,” Maggiano added. “They became not just neighbors, but stewards of this town’s future. They are not simply residents—they are contributors, leaders, and people I have grown to greatly admire.”

About KPAC
The Korean Parents Advisory Council (KPAC)is a dynamic volunteer organization made up of Korean-American parents committed to education, student support, cultural pride, and civic engagement. Strengthening Bonds Across Communities

Earlier this year, MDL attorneys also attended KPAC’s Lunar New Year event to show their solidarity and support.
